How to schedule Instagram and Facebook Stories (for free)

1. Make sure you have set up a Professional or Creator Account. There isn't much of a difference in both, but I have noticed access to features quicker on a Creator Account.

2. Once you have a Professional or Creator Account, you may need to connect your Instagram and Facebook accounts if you haven't already.

3. Go to business.facebook.com and follow instructions as it pops up on your screen.

4. Check if your page pops up by clicking the drop down arrow under "Facebook Business Suite"

5. Follow the video below to start scheduling Instagram and Facebook Stories.

Tips: Within the Facebook Business Suite and Creator Studio you can look at your pots, insights, ads, and access free sounds to add to graphics and videos.

Before you begin The steps below only apply if you’re trying to schedule posts for Business Suite desktop. Learn more about how to schedule posts on Business Suite mobile app.

1. Make sure you’re working in the correct account. To select a different Facebook Page and Instagram account in Business Suite, click the dropdown menu in the top left of your sidebar.

2. Select the Facebook Page and Instagram account you want to create and schedule posts for.

Create and Schedule Stories

1. Click on Stories from the left sidebar.

2. Click Create Story.

3. Select where you want to create or schedule a post for your Facebook News Feed, Instagram Feed, or both.

4. Click Upload Media and add a photo or video to your story.

5. Customize your story by cropping, adding text or stickers.

6. Preview how your story will look on Facebook and Instagram on the right.

7. Click Publish Story to publish immediately, or click the blue arrow to select Schedule Story to publish it later.

To edit your drafts, go to the Posts and Stories tab.
